But there is a better way. <\/p>\n<p>The START-NOW Program will let you take charge of your recovery from psychological trauma. He is an international expert in the field of PTSD related to both combat and other traumas like childhood abuse, assaults, or motor vehicle accidents, and has published over 300 scientific papers and six books on the topic, including Does Stress Damage the Brain? and most recently You Can\u2019t Just Snap Out of It: The Real Path to Recovery From Psychological Trauma: Introducing the START-NOW Program. He has over 30 years experience treating psychological trauma and PTSD and was the Medical Director of the first inpatient unit for the treatment of combat-related PTSD.<\/p>\n<p>Dan Conaway, J.D.<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/beforeyoutakethatpill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/authorphoto_1-199x300.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/beforeyoutakethatpill.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/authorphoto_1-199x300.png\" alt=\"Dan Conaway\" width=\"199\" height=\"300\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-378\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nDan Conaway is an Atlanta-based criminal defense attorney and author of \u201cArrested: Battling America\u2019s Criminal Justice System.\u201d He is a former Assistant District Attorney and regularly appears on CNN, HLN, the Fox News Channel and other national television and radio broadcasts to give legal commentary on high-profile cases. A former Chair of the Criminal Law Committee of the International Bar Association, Conaway is also a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers,  the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the New York State Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
