These drugs have a range of unfortunate possible side effects, including the fact that they can make your <a href=\"http:\/\/ehealthforum.com\/blogs\/dougbremner\/dear-doctor-cipro-and-levaquin-might-make-your-tendons-snap-off-b25561.html\">tendons snap off<\/a>. You can now add them to the list of prescription medications used for a range of things from acne to asthma to prophylaxis against infections that &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/beforeyoutakethatpill.com\/blog\/2016\/07\/25\/if-they-dont-kill-us-they-will-drive-us-crazy\/\">If They Don&#8217;t Kill You They Will Drive You Crazy<\/a>.&#8221; They cause neuropsychiatric side effects, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC3410005\/\">anxiety, insomnia<\/a>, depression, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pmc\/articles\/PMC2745871\/\">psychosis<\/a>. The mechanism is thought to be related to <a href=\"http:\/\/dougbremner.com\/FQ_Golomb.pdf\">delayed mitochondrial injury<\/a>, although they also have effects on neurotransmitter systems involved in mood and anxiety like <a href=\"http:\/\/dougbremner.com\/FQ_Golomb.pdf\">GABA<\/a>. In 2015 the FDA recommended a product label change to include &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/dougbremner.com\/Kaur.pdf\">FQ-induced disability<\/a>&#8221; which is a multi-system degenerative disorder. Studies in animals also showed that these drugs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.myquinstory.info\/disturbing-levaquin-findings-dr-mark-noble-part-2\/\">affected neuron formation in the hippocampus,<\/a> which plays a role in both mood and learning and memory.<\/p>\n<p>As of 2015 there were 133 reported completed suicides on fluoroquinolones, 133 suicide attempts, and 348 cases of suicidality reported to the FDA Adverse Events Reporting System (FAERS).
